We're remounting "The Necklace".  Once again at the home of it's premier, we're doing a longer, more complex version. Bernard Boulanger and the Colorifics will be playing live for the show, so the energy will be blasting.

The Necklace is a story about ...a necklace.  It gets bought, stolen, found, sold, pawned, lost, given away- people's characters are changed as the necklace passes through their lives.

The inspiration came from the music of Vancouver Composer Bernard Boulanger.  The image of a 40's style, gangster circus was created from the music.  Another great inspiration was Guys and Dolls.  Director and writer Peter Boulanger imagined a circus show that was like a musical, except that instead of people breaking into song and dance, they'd break into circus.
